I am a high school mathematics teacher.
Although this job does not offer a high income and can sometimes be stressful and demanding, I truly love teaching. I want to support my students with the knowledge I have gained, along with my dedication and genuine care for them.
However, because a teacher’s salary is not enough to fully support my life, I started doing affiliate work from home after teaching hours last summer. It has been almost six months now. Even though it is considered a side job, the truth is that I have not yet earned any income from it.
I am not an outgoing person, so the way I approach affiliate marketing is quite different from others. I focus on writing blog posts where I introduce products based on careful research and my personal experience. After that, I create short videos to present the products in a more visual and accessible way.
After nearly six months of working on this second job, I realized that what I truly enjoy is designing and making my blog and videos visually appealing. That is why, for every blog post or video, I always try to make it as polished and thoughtful as possible within my abilities.
I do not like doing things carelessly or halfway. Whether it is my main job or a side job, whether I am paid or not, I always put my whole heart into what I do.
Because of my teaching schedule, I usually can only write one blog post and create one short product video each week. I am only able to do more when I have time off or during holidays.
Many people believe affiliate marketing is an easy way to make money, but I see it differently. You do not earn commissions unless someone clicks your link and purchases a product. That is why this work also requires patience, persistence, and a certain amount of luck.
I am writing this blog post today to help you understand me better. And if any companies or brands looking for collaboration happen to read this post, I hope it gives you a clearer picture of how I work. If we have the right connection and enough patience, I believe we can work well together.
I love being a teacher, so my priority and main career will always be teaching mathematics to my students—supporting those who need help and nurturing a love for math, critical thinking, and deeper learning.
This is a deeply meaningful job to me.
Thank you for your time and patience in reading this blog post.
